I'm trying to incorporate Blender for the making of the backgrounds as I generally just wanna learn how to use it a bit better. This one came out okay. Trying to get the certain type of look that I want is a bit hard as it's stylized but I plan on experimenting until I get it working the way I want it. My soft goal for that is to get the render to a place where I don't have to paint over it as much while still being quick in constructing it in Blender.

Ah, that totally make sense. So you basically created a bunch 3d objects like squares or rectangles as a reference and simply painted over them so they would look more natural to the setting you're creating. Fascinating. You'll get it down in no time.
