Datu(?) Pepper
Added 2023-11-12 16:43:52 +0000 UTCJust messing around with an outfit idea for Pepper. She'll probably wear something like this in the future. I haven't nailed down the design just yet but I wanted to color this one in to see it as a whole. I also plan to give it a more contemporary feel instead of a historically ancient look.
I had the term "Datu" in there as that was my initial idea but reading just a little bit more of some ancient Filipino terms, I feel like that might not necessarily be the best fit. At least, for what I'm trying to go for for Pepper.
For any of you who may not know, Datus (dah-toos) are equivalent to nobilities in ancient Filipino society. They're the ones that ruled their communities, otherwise known as "barangays" (bah-rung-ga-is). Pepper is more of a warrior, not a leader. So I might change it to something like "Timawa," which was a term given to the warrior class in the Visayan area.

Yeah I was thinking about that. It would be annoying having to keep redrawing all those bits. That's why I'm just messing around with the look. Trying to see what looked cool so far.
