360° Drawing

I don't know if Patreon has the ability to view 360° images properly so just in case it just shows you a warped image above 😆, follow this link. It'll take you to Google Photos where you can click on the image and enter the 360° view. You may wanna zoom out just a tick so that the images isn't so in-your-face. You can also press F11 to enter fullscreen so that it's a bit more immersive. I don't know how to get rid of the gradient at the top though.

I didn't originally plan to do a 360° drawing. I was actually looking for cameras that have those special lenses that can take photos suitable for VR. But, when I started looking into it, the setup for them and how much they costed definitely did not spark joy 😅. So then, I remembered, like 5 or 6 years back, about when people were making 360° drawings and decided to try it out!

Doing the one above was fun but don't know if I'll draw a whole lot of these. The workflow for them is a little weird as I'm actually drawing on a pseudo-3D space and then I have to unwrap it to color it in but I guess we'll see.

Let me know what you guys think!

Oh wow, now that is really spectacular. And I like how you left the perspective lines so that we can see how you did it 😮

Oh, that's interesting! It's nice to mess around with weird and new ways to do things sometimes. It definitely can get a little monotonous doing the same process over and over again. The part with Pepper and Paddy looking past you wasn't something that I had planned them to do. It was only when I started drawing what was behind me that I thought it would be a cool idea to put something creepy there ^_^

This is really neat. Realizing that Pepper and Paddy aren't actually looking at you but past you and then being able to turn to see where they are looking works great. The Spire also makes for an interesting feature. Another artist I follow did one of these a few years back as a special anniversary page on their web comic. It also came out great and they indicated it was an interesting experiment.
