Our Life 2: Fancy Fun Script Snippet 2
Added 2023-12-17 19:00:03 +0000 UTCTamarack gets to have her own fancy fun, too! And it's the primmest, properest pastime of all- a tea party ๐
Pure Text:
โFragile-looking plates and teacups were spread over the ground in a vague circle-ish shape.โ
โIn the center of that was a platter of snacks and a pale pink teapot with roses painted along the bottom part. The cap for the pot had an actual sculpted rose at the tippy top.โ
tam โI couldnโt find a table, but this makes it like a picnic! But inside.โ
โShe plopped down in front of one of the place setters, pointing to where you could sit. You took your spot on the opposite side of the arrangement [and added your things to hers].โ #if brought stuff
tam โAlright. My first [best friends] Golden Grove tea party startsโฆ now.โ #if besties
โIn an instant your view was blocked by an array of tea packets. Tamarack held the spread up to your face like a paper fan.โ
โYouโd seen scenes in movies and tv shows where people bashfully hid behind decorative fans, it was even sometimes over tea. But this wasnโt that.โ
tam โYouโre the guest, you can pick what flavor you want first. This is what Iโve got.โ
โYou narrowed your eyes at the spread, trying to figure out the types of teas among the layers of her โfanโ.โ
โThere were four options. Of course, Tamarackโs bounty was far more than four individual packets, but a lot of them were the same type.โ
โVanilla chamomile, pure peppermint, mixed berry, and cinnamon apple.โ
if rude:
โIt was pretty misleading. Showing only the one of each wouldnโt made it obvious how unimpressive the options were at this party. She kept nudging them at you, though.โ
if praising:
โIt was nice of her to offer to let you pick first and give you so many options! That was just like her.โ
####
Menu:
-โYou went for the chamomile.โ:
-โYouโd have peppermint.โ:
-โMixed berry was your choice.โ:
-โThe cinnamon apple seemed right then.โ:
-โYou werenโt taking any. None of those were good!โ:
-โBut you didnโt care. It could be anything.โ:
-โTruthfully, you didnโt want tea, even if it was a tea party...โ:

2023-12-17 19:19:07 +0000 UTCIt's so cute!!๐ฉ๐ But I just noticed that for each episode, even if it's a more Qiu or more tama moment, (example: walks = Tam and wheels = Qiu) there is an alternative route with the other LI, so I'm in the middle of an existential crisis of who to spend my time with every time...๐ญ (I mean, how can we not want to spend time with our national Qiu, but at the same time, who can say no to a picnic with this best friend???๐ญ๐ซ )
