OL2: Fall Ended Script Preview (Step 1)

Well, they tried. They all did. Being a prince isn't all fun and games.

Pure Text:

“Qiu reappeared in front of you as someone else. He didn’t have a single piece of normal clothes anymore. His signature fluffy jacket had been replaced with the costume of a prince.”

“Lacy cuffs billowed as he moved. Golden threads glinted across his chest.”

“His performance outfit was only two pieces; a puffy shirt and red vest over the leotard he already had, yet [Qiu] seemed totally transformed.”

“The style of clothes, the difference between them and anything else you’d ever seen him in, created a vision of royalty. Qiu carried it with his shoulders straight and chest out.”

“And ‘cause his hair was pulled back, you could see his face so much better. It was amazing…”

if rude:

“Wait- what were you even thinking?!”

qiu “Hi. Here I am!”

“Qiu stretched his arms out wide; he twisted this way and that way. People needed to check him out from every angle.”

“Tamarack didn’t know what to say. You knew what she should’ve. The Tamarack from before would’ve “wow”ed. But his parents still loved it.”

mrs_l “You are very handsome!”

mr_l “Absolutely. That is a perfect fit. I’m proud of you, Qiu.”

“The presence of a prince turned out to be only a wax statue. Qiu’s bold stance slowly melted under the exposing light of the hall. Mr. Lin’s brows creased.”

mr_l “I know you’ve been nervous about this, having a leading role, performing in front of a full crowd. But it’ll be fine.”

mr_l “You look the part. That’s half the battle when it comes to convincing people you know what you’re doing. Trust me.”

“Mr. Lin winked and that was apparently enough of that. Mrs. Lin touched her husband’s arm before he went further.”

mrs_l “We will be happy to see you dance no matter what. If you keep trying hard, it will be a good show.” 

“Their tactics for boosting Qiu’s confidence were from totally different directions and somehow neither hit the mark! Each reassurance twisted his features more.”

“People trying that hard couldn’t get it that wrong unless they didn’t get what they were supposed to be helping with.”

“Qiu let out a single loud laugh at nothing funny.”

qiu “Thanks. But you got to see it and now you’ve gotta get out of here.”

qiu “You’re gonna mess up the surprise. You can’t see the show before it’s supposed to happen!”
