Watching and Downloading Videos from Archive on Oculus Headset
Added 2022-12-18 22:57:11 +0000 UTC- Go into your oculus browser, login to Patreon, go to the dropbox archive, click the animation of choice, there will be a bar with some options to change the viewing to 3d-2d and 360 and 180. Most VR animation creators use 180-3D, myself included. Some other names for 180-3D could be LR_180 SBS_180 among others. So keep an eye out for that. So now you should be viewing content within dropbox on the Oculus browser.
- This will be the preferred method and that is downloading the video to the headset. Within the dropbox archive there will be an icon with 3 dots that will bring up a menu, click the download option. Oculus I believe comes with a VR media player. Should be named VR animation player. Its a bit basic but gets the job.
- Finally if you have some spare cash there is an app called skybox. Easily the best video player I've used WITHIN the headset. So you have your downloaded videos you will be able to view them within skybox the interface is very simple so im not gonna go to in depth.
- There are other video players on oculus so feel free to experiment :)
