Do you prefer characters that look as identical as possible to their source material?

This may seem like a dumb question, but let me explain.

A lot of 2D designs don't translate well into 3D.

Since the original version of the character was designed for 2D, some of their features will look completely out of place when trying to create a 3D version out of it.

So consider these examples:

On the left, we have the original source material. On the right, we have what I believe to be is a more "accurate" representation of the 2D original.

As you can see, the Edgeville version is more stylized. I did this because I felt the sex appeal was greater. In short, I'd rather fuck the middle version than the one on the right.

How do you feel about this going forward? Should the MILFs be more accurate, like the version on the right?

Or should they stay more stylized, like the Edgeville version?

This will NOT apply to 3D designs. For instance, Mrs Incredible will get the makeover treatment as well, and I'll try to represent her as closely as possible to her source material, since she's already 3D.

This ONLY applies to 2D designs being translated into 3D designs.

As another example, consider Lois Griffin:
