How does Y/n end up fucking Lute?
A: He accidentally gets sent to heaven while Emily is traveling back. While up there, he randomly meets her while wearing a disguise that makes him look like a resident, and with her needing to release some stress, she ends up fucking him.
B: The two duel with a bet; if he wins, he can request anything he wants. If Lute wins, the same thing applies, but she could also kill him.
C: He becomes an actual heaven resident and gets paired with Lute by Sera to keep an eye on him.

But we don’t have the full picture we only seen snippets from what Vaggie and alastor have said. And that one chapter we do have of his past But here the thing redemption is a weird concept. And that is kinda the whole point of the hotel But yes I’ll outright say C is a lie. That is not how they start fucking each other
