Miyako Yoshika contrasts the full-of-life yamabiko by being dead. This zombie’s brain is slightly rotten so her play style is simple. Absorb every hit with your face and eat your enemies.
The Wicked Hermit, Kaku Seiga, is wanted dead by the gods themselves and has proved extremely elusive. In Danmaku!!, she goes right through any Defense her opponents have and picks their pockets while they’re being attacked.
Mononobe no Futo deals 1d6 psychic damage to western players when they see her name. Futo’s card is all about her past. As a shikaisen, she can break dishes to avoid death. In addition, her Spell Card lets her swap hands with another player. This version has a buff to it, it turned out in testing this was perfectly fine.
Toyosatomimi no Miko deals 2d6 psychic damage and in Danmaku!! lore she’s a bit of an accident. When we originally designed her, we envisioned her as a Heroine delegating tasks to her Partners. Turns out players told us she’s one of the best Partners herself. Oh well. The obvious trick here is to empty your hand to activate “Armillary Sphere of Ikaruga-dera” for free and refill your hand, but do not underestimate the hostile activation. Forcing an opponent to cycle their hand is really good.
Who is your fluffy tail queen? Yakumo Ran or Futatsuiwa Mamizou? This shapeshifter can be anyone you want to be and gets both their Ability and Spell Card. She’s been simplified here so her card is no longer a wall of text.

Kasodani Kyouko - You know what is better than Final Word, two Final Words. Miyako Yoshika - I haven't played a match with her in it. Does her life gain outweigh her inability to dodge? Kaku Seiga - NO camping zone Mononobe no Futo - One of the two heroines that always get passed up in selections. Changed now that she can choose herself for her spell Toyosatomimi no Miko - the other heroine that got passed up. she makes for a great partner but rarely does the partner get to see her Futatsuiwa Mamizou - she loses her built-in dodge but ill still choose Ran.
