2025-08-24 18:52:45 +0000 UTCI think everyone here misunderstood why Pedro made so many stupid decisions…..he was under the influence of evil. Every single dumb decision he made, from first going to the rotten’s house, to the home of his children and ex wife, to getting his brother and mother, to how he dealt with the situation the kids in the school, he wasn’t actually making alone. Yeah, the dog smelled the clothes and caught it, BUT HE HAD BEEN WEARING THEM THE ENTIRE TIME SO HE WAS ALREADY WAY INFECTED. The demonic infection had him from the very beginning, and used him to spread to everyone he came across the entire film. It fooled the characters in the film just like it fooled all of you into thinking he was just making his own dumb decisions. 😂 that’s the genius of this film, and the double meaning of the title: cause evil was specifically lurking over him like a shroud from the very beginning, from coming in contact with the dead cleaner. And no one, not even Pedro, his family, and apparently a lot of the audience, is aware of it or can see it. But once you do, his dumb “decisions” make a lot more sense.
