She was the spitting image of her father, both in appearance and personality, bearing no resemblance to her mother whatsoever. Werewolves, once locked in a long war with vampires, were now facing a dwindling population due to a shortened lifespan and the loss of their ability to infect others. Their kind could only reproduce with other werewolves, and due to a declining female population, there was a cultural emphasis on having multiple children, especially daughters. While the ancient feud with vampires had simmered down, the younger generation had little animosity towards them, having grown up in a time of relative peace.
