[WOTD] Elaria redesign ❤

Hello Patreons!

In the first survey about redesigns, you chose and Elaria was the big winner. And in this post, I want to show you the redesign of our beloved headmistress.

It's been intense days of work (and even now as I write this), but I believe the results have been worth it.

In addition to, of course, sharing images and comparisons so you can see her, I want to talk a bit about the work I've done and the decisions I've made, as well as some ideas I have planned for the character within the story.

As you already know, Elaria is the director of the Academy, but she's not the typical grumpy, orthodox, or demanding headmistress, but rather the opposite. We have the possibility to unlock events with her and get to know her better, as well as to learn more about the history of the Academy where we work. From the very beginning, Elaria is kind and charming to us; she sees us more as a friend than as an employee or a simple teacher.

I wanted to reflect this sympathy and simplicity in her appearance and outfit, giving her hair a more "open" and "relaxed" style, and dressing her in a white blazer that makes her look like a director, but also like a member of the school staff.

Her face can easily convey security and trust, but it can also look severe or displeased if required.

Alright, now it's time to introduce you to the new Elaria!

At first glance, you can notice the huge change. I wanted to maintain a short/medium-short hair length and a "loose" style, but I also wanted it to look less voluminous and more orderly.

Her eyes look much more beautiful, and her eyelashes are now the same color as her hair. There's a significant change in the nose, and it's something I'll keep in future redesigns.

As for the outfit, it's very similar to the original, but I wanted it to be less "monotonous." You'll see that I changed the black tie to a white bow tie, which makes the outfit look more aesthetic and elegant.

As I mentioned before, it's a huge change, and they even look like different characters, so it's normal for more veteran players to find it a bit "strange," in fact, I feel that way too.

En la primera encuesta acerca de los rediseños, ustedes eligieron y Elaria fue la gran ganadora. Y en este post, quiero enseñarles el rediseño de nuestra querida jefa.

Fueron días intensos de trabajo (e incluso ahora mismo mientras escribo esto), pero los resultados creo que han valido la pena.

Además de, por supuesto, compartir imágenes y comparativas para que puedan verla, quiero hablarles un poco del trabajo que he hecho y las decisiones que he tomado, así como algunas ideas que tengo planeadas para el personaje dentro de la historia.

Como ya sabrán, Elaria es la directora de la Academia, pero no es la típica directora gruñona, ortodoxa o exigente, sino que es todo lo contrario. Tenemos la posibilidad de desbloquear eventos con ella y conocerla mejor, así como conocer mejor la historia de la Academia donde trabajamos. Desde el primer momento, Elaria es amable y encantadora con nosotros, nos ve más como un amigo que como un empleado o un simple profesor.

Dicha simpatía y sencillez he querido reflejarla en su aspecto y su outfit, dándole un cabello con un estilo más "abierto" y "descontracturado", y vistiendo un blazer blanco que la hace ver como una directora, pero también como un miembro más del personal del colegio.

Su rostro es capaz de transmitir fácilmente seguridad y confianza, pero también puede lucir severo o disconforme si se requiere.

¡Muy bien, ahora es momento de presentarles a la nueva Elaria!

A simple vista, se puede notar el enorme cambio. He querido mantener un cabello corto/medio corto y un estilo "suelto", pero también quería que se viera con menos volumen y más ordenado.

Sus ojos se ven mucho más hermosos, y sus pestañas ahora son del mismo color que su cabello. Hay un cambio importante en la nariz, y es algo que mantendré en los próximos rediseños.

En cuanto al outfit, es muy similar al original, pero he querido que sea menos "monótono". Podrán observar que cambié la corbata negra por un moño/lazo blanco, que hace que el outfit se vea más estético y elegante

Como he dicho antes, es un cambio enorme, e incluso parecen personajes diferentes, así que es normal que a los jugadores más veteranos les pueda resultar un poco "extraño", de hecho, eso me sucede un poco a mi.

Me gustaría saber qué opinan ustedes acerca de este primer nuevo rediseño. Espero que les resulte fascinante al igual que a mí. ❤
