[WOTD] Asagi redesign - Part 2: Presentation

First of all, I have to say that this post was originally going to be exclusive for Patreons, something I already mentioned in the post about Alune's redesign.
But on the Discord server, I proposed a community challenge to change that, and you all did it! So this post will be public.
Keep showing the same or more support for this redesign, and the next redesign post might also be public.

As I did with Alune's redesign, I've divided Asagi's redesign process into three parts. This post is the second part and probably the most important, where I'll show you the final result of the redesign.

Asagi is a very athletic, talented, and persevering girl. She loves challenges and competition but also enjoys teaching others and inspiring them to be better.

She is the leader of the athletics club at Lionheart Academy and one of the smartest and most popular students. But doesn't belong to the same class as Alune, Siri, or Rachel, as she is in a higher grade (Asagi is in class 4-A, while the other girls are in class 3-B where Clyde teaches most of the classes).
In the story, it is also mentioned that she is friends with the student council president. That will change in the remake, as Asagi will now be the vice-president of the council.

When I was creating her original design, the idea was to make her look like an athletic girl but also have a "clean" appearance, meaning a simple but elegant girl. Her long black hair represents Asagi's good health and elegance.
I don't quite remember if this is mentioned in the story, but Asagi values her long hair a lot. That's why she doesn't cut it, even though shorter hair would be more beneficial for a girl so dedicated to sports and athletics.

On the other hand, her eye color was initially yellow, but I decided to make them more brown since they looked too feline. However, I think that's not entirely good either because, in her original design, there weren't many elements reflecting that her characteristic color is yellow. That's something I took special care of for the redesign.

Here is a comparison between the new design and the old one.

Of course, I kept her long black hair and the shape of her eyes, which is similar to the shape of Zaira's and Erika's eyes.

Her body now looks much more toned, fitting for a girl who lives and breathes sports and physical activity. Her abdomen now has an impressive six-pack. Her legs and waist are now wider, making her look sexier and more feminine. And because of that, I didn't increase the muscle mass in her arms much.
Regarding her breasts, you can easily see the radical change, but the size is almost the same.

Unlike Alune, Asagi has more defined cheeks and a "sharper" chin.

And as for her height, it will remain the same, making Asagi one of the tallest girls (among the main girls), only surpassed by Erika and Jill.

The inclusion of new secondary characters opens up many possibilities to expand Asagi's development and relationships.
For example, Kaede (the student council president) will be a good friend of Asagi's, and they will be responsible students, but with different personalities, sometimes having differences or Asagi mediating conflicts between Kaede and another girl.
Tasha will be a new student at the Academy and will take on the role of Asagi's apprentice.
As for her mother, Zaira, there will be no changes in their relationship. As you've seen, they are very close, and that will continue.

Besides the interschool Olympics event (which has already been mentioned in the story and will have great importance in Asagi's story), I've also been thinking about adding a school fair event involving all classes and grades, where parents can also attend.
Additionally, I thought of another possible event, but only for Asagi's grade, consisting of a sort of school expedition to the outskirts of the city, where Clyde and Asagi could get lost together while hiking through an extensive forest.

Oh, one detail I will remove is that Asagi will no longer wear glasses. In the story, she explains that she uses glasses to see better from a distance. While she won't wear glasses now, I'm not entirely sure if I will remove that detail completely. Maybe I'll make her use contact lenses instead.

I showed the new Lionheart Academy uniform in part 3 of Alune's redesign, but I will also show it here. This is how Asagi looks in the new school uniform.

But Alune has her own personalized uniform, and I want the other main girls (who are students) to have one too. So, in part 3 of Asagi's redesign, I will take care of that.

Finally, I want to mention a few more things about Asagi's personality and development.

At first glance, she seems like a perfect and extremely cheerful and virtuous girl, but the truth is that she hides her insecurities, fears, and flaws very well. I tried to leave several clues and dialogues throughout the story so far regarding her greatest trauma, which she struggles to overcome.
In the remake, I will also try to show her competitive side without forgetting that she also likes to teach others, especially when it comes to sports.
Additionally, in one of the mandatory and most critical events for her, I will make her pride and stubbornness her greatest strength and virtue.

I've already made small progress with Bonnie and Clyde redesign, maybe I'll do a poll to determine which redesign to show first.
Although I also have the introduction of a new character pending, the extravagant Art teacher at Lionheart Academy.

And, as I said before, if this post receives the same or more support than Alune's post, I will continue showing the new redesigns for everyone.

Antes que nada debo decir que este post originalmente iba a ser exclusivo para Patreons, algo que ya comenté en el post sobre el rediseño de Alune.
Pero en el servidor de Discord propuse un pequeño desafío de comunidad para cambiar eso, ¡y ustedes lograron culminarlo con éxito! Entonces este post también será público.
Continúen demostrando el mismo o más apoyo a este rediseño y es posible que la próxima publicación sobre rediseño también sea pública.

Como hice con el rediseño de Alune, dividí el proceso de rediseño de Asagi en tres partes. Este post es la segunda parte y probablemente la más importante, donde les mostraré el resultado final del rediseño.

Asagi es una chica muy atlética, talentosa y perseverante. Le encantan los desafíos y la competencia, pero también disfruta enseñar a otros e inspirarlos a ser mejores.

Ella es la líder del club de atletismo de Lionheart Academy y una de las estudiantes más inteligentes y populares. Aunque no pertenece a la misma clase que Alune, Siri o Rachel, ya que está en un grado superior (Asagi está en la clase 4-A, mientras que las otras chicas están en la clase 3-B donde Clyde enseña la mayoría de las materias).
En la historia, también se menciona que ella es amiga del presidente del consejo estudiantil. Eso cambiará en la nueva versión, ya que Asagi ahora será la vicepresidenta del consejo.

Cuando estaba creando su diseño original, la idea era hacerla lucir como una chica atlética pero también tener una apariencia "limpia", es decir, una chica sencilla pero elegante. Su largo cabello negro representa la buena salud y la elegancia de Asagi.
No recuerdo bien si esto se menciona en la historia, pero Asagi valora mucho su cabello largo. Por eso no se lo corta, aunque un pelo más corto sería más beneficioso para una chica tan dedicada al deporte y al atletismo.

Por otro lado, su color de ojos inicialmente era amarillo, pero decidí hacerlos más marrones ya que se veían demasiado felinos. Sin embargo, creo que eso tampoco es del todo bueno porque en su diseño original no había muchos elementos que reflejaran que su color característico es el amarillo. Eso es algo que cuidé especialmente para el rediseño.

Rediseño de Asagi

Aquí hay una comparación entre el nuevo diseño y el antiguo.

Por supuesto, mantuve su largo cabello negro y la forma de sus ojos, que es similar a la forma de los ojos de Zaira y Erika.

Su cuerpo ahora luce mucho más tonificado, propio de una chica que vive y respira deporte y actividad física. Su abdomen ahora tiene unos abdominales impresionantes. Sus piernas y cintura ahora son más anchas, haciéndola lucir más sexy y femenina. Y debido a eso, no aumenté mucho la masa muscular en sus brazos.
En cuanto a sus pechos se nota fácilmente el cambio radical, pero el tamaño es casi el mismo.

A diferencia de Alune, Asagi tiene mejillas más definidas y un mentón más "afilado".

Y en cuanto a su altura, seguirá siendo la misma, convirtiendo a Asagi en una de las chicas más altas (entre las chicas principales), sólo superada por Erika y Jill.

La inclusión de nuevos personajes secundarios abre muchas posibilidades para ampliar el desarrollo y las relaciones de Asagi.
Por ejemplo, Kaede (la presidenta del consejo estudiantil) será una buena amiga de Asagi, y serán estudiantes responsables, pero con personalidades diferentes, a veces teniendo diferencias o Asagi mediando conflictos entre Kaede y otra chica.
Tasha será una nueva estudiante en la Academia y asumirá el papel de aprendiz de Asagi.
En cuanto a su madre, Zaira, no habrá cambios en su relación. Como habrán visto, ellas están muy unidas y eso continuará así.

Además del evento de las olimpiadas interescolares (que ya se mencionó en la historia y tendrá gran importancia en el desarrollo de Asagi), también he estado pensando en agregar un evento de feria escolar que involucre a todas las clases y cursos, donde los padres también puedan asistir.
Además, pensé en otro posible evento, pero sólo para el curso de Asagi, que consistirá en una especie de expedición escolar a las afueras de la ciudad, donde Clyde y Asagi podrían perderse juntos mientras caminaban por un extenso bosque.

Oh, un detalle que eliminaré es que Asagi ya no usará gafas. En la historia se explica que usa gafas para ver mejor de lejos. Si bien ahora no usará gafas, no estoy del todo seguro de si eliminaré ese detalle por completo. Tal vez haga que ella use lentes de contacto.

Mostré el nuevo uniforme de Lionheart Academy en la parte 3 del rediseño de Alune, pero también lo mostraré aquí. Así luce Asagi con el nuevo uniforme escolar.

Pero Alune tiene su propio uniforme personalizado y quiero que las otras chicas principales (que son estudiantes) también tengan uno. Entonces, en la parte 3 del rediseño de Asagi, me encargaré de eso.

Finalmente, quiero mencionar algunas cosas más sobre la personalidad y el desarrollo de Asagi.

A simple vista, ella parece una chica perfecta y sumamente alegre y virtuosa, pero la verdad es que también esconde muy bien sus inseguridades, miedos y defectos. Intenté dejar varias pistas y diálogos a lo largo de la historia hasta ahora con respecto al mayor de sus traumas, el cual intenta superar con dificultad.
En el remake intentaré dejar ver también su lado competitivo, sin olvidar que también le gusta enseñar a los demás, especialmente cuando se trata de deportes.
Y a su vez, en uno de los eventos obligatorios y más crítico para ella, haré que su orgullo y terquedad se convierta en su mayor fortaleza y virtud.

Ya he hecho pequeños avances con el rediseño de Bonnie y Clyde, tal vez haga una encuesta para determinar que rediseño enseñar primero.
Aunque tambien tengo pendiente la presentación de un nuevo personaje, la extravagante profesora de Arte de la Academia Lionheart.

Y, como dije antes, si este post recibe el mismo o más apoyo que el post de Alune, entonces continuaré mostrando los nuevos rediseños para todos.
