[WOTD] Rachel redesign - Part 3: Outfits and wallpapers

This is the third and final post in the redesign process of our favorite punk girl, Rachel. Here, I'll be showing you the new outfits I designed for her and sharing some wallpapers.

Like in Siri’s post, I’ll also share a download link with all the renders and wallpapers to keep this post from getting too long.

Like with Jill, Rachel’s hairstyles gave me quite a headache since her hair has more than one color. Also, it took a while for good inspiration to strike when coming up with her new outfits. However, I think I managed to capture a lot of the ideas I had for her and her wardrobe.

To start, I’d like to show you her school uniform, as I always do (or work outfit, in the case of Jill and Erika). A few days ago, I held a poll to decide what Rachel’s school outfit should be, and in the end, the first option won due to the boosted votes.
In my personal opinion, it’s my favorite, so I’m glad it won, though the idea of an alternate school uniform for the Academy students is still pending.
Although the 4 main girls (students) have the same uniform, I think they can be differentiated quite well thanks to the customization and style that each one gives it.

To personalize Rachel's school uniform, I chose for her to wear a black, long-sleeved shirt underneath her sailor uniform. As for her stockings, they are "fishnet tights", the same as in the original design.

For accessories, I chose a bolder or more “edgy” choker. I already have a funny moment or scene in mind between Rachel and Kaede or Rachel and Elaria, where she explains that her choker poses no danger since the spikes are fake or made of a material like rubber.

I also added a bracelet and a couple of rings.

I thought about adding a belt too, but I felt that it was overloading the outfit too much.

Regarding her new outfits, I decided to make a jacket a distinctive part of Rachel’s look in most of them. I really like this outfit from the original design; I’d say it’s my favorite of Rachel’s.

So, in addition to redesigning it, I also added a jacket of that "style" in other outfits, as I mentioned.

Rachel will also wear various chokers in her outfits and sport pins related to her musical tastes (as well as on some of her clothing prints), something unique to her. Here are some close-ups of these pins.

I created a total of five different hairstyles for Rachel. As I mentioned at the start of this post, it was a challenge since Rachel’s hair is quite unique, and I also don’t like repeating styles between the girls.

I also made three variants of "nighttime outfits", something Rachel could wear on a romantic date with Clyde.

For her pajamas, I knew it had to be something "loose and simple" for Rachel, and I made two versions.

Enjoy the bonus! Just like I did with Siri, I wanted to try something a little "out of place" with Rachel. Kimonos are also a theme I could use in the new image gallery.

Este es el tercer y último post del proceso de rediseño de nuestra chica punk favorita, Rachel. Aquí voy a mostrarles los nuevos outfits que diseñé para ella y compartiré algunos wallpapers.

Al igual que en el post de Siri, aquí también voy a compartir un enlace de descarga con todos los renders y wallpapers, para no alargar demasiado el post.

Al igual que con Jill, los peinados de Rachel me dieron bastantes dolores de cabeza, ya que su cabello tiene más de un color. Además, la buena inspiración tardó en llegar a la hora de pensar en los nuevos outfits para Rachel. Sin embargo, creo que logré plasmar muchas de las ideas que tenía para ella y su ropa.

Para empezar, me gustaría mostrarles el uniforme escolar como siempre lo hago (o laboral, en el caso de Jill y Erika). Hace unos días hice una encuesta para definir cuál debería ser el outfit escolar de Rachel, y al final ganó la primera opción debido a los votos potenciados.
En mi opinión personal, es mi favorito, así que me alegra que haya ganado, aunque aún queda pendiente la idea del uniforme escolar alternativo para las estudiantes de la Academia.
Aunque las 4 chicas principales (estudiantes) tengan el mismo uniforme, creo que se pueden diferenciar bastante bien gracias a la personalización y estilo que le da cada una.

Para personalizar el uniforme escolar de Rachel, elegí que ella vista una camiseta negra de mangas largas debajo de su uniforme marinero. En cuanto a sus medias, son del tipo "fishnet tights", las mismas que en el diseño original.

Para los accesorios, elegí un collar más "rudo" o "atrevido". Ya tengo en mente una escena o momento gracioso entre Rachel y Kaede o Rachel y Elaria, en la que explique que su collar no representa ningún peligro, ya que sus pinchos son falsos o de un material como la goma.

También añadí una pulsera y un par de anillos.

Pensé en agregarle también un cinturón, pero sentí que era sobrecargar demasiado el outfit.

En cuanto a sus nuevos outfits, en la mayoría decidí implementar una chaqueta como elemento distintivo de Rachel. Me gusta bastante este outfit del diseño original; diría que es mi favorito de los de Rachel.

Así que, además de rediseñarlo, también añadí el uso de una chaqueta de ese "estilo" en otros outfits, como ya mencioné.

Rachel también usará varios collares en sus outfits y lucirá pines relacionados con sus gustos musicales (asi como tambien en algunas estampas de su ropa), algo que será exclusivo de ella. Aquí les muestro algunos de estos pines de cerca.

Hice un total de cinco peinados o estilos de peinado diferentes para Rachel. Como mencioné al inicio del post, fue un desafío, ya que el cabello de Rachel es bastante particular, y tampoco me gusta repetir estilos entre las chicas.

También hice tres variantes de "outfits nocturnos", algo que Rachel podría usar en una cita romántica con Clyde.

En cuanto a su pijama, sabía que tenía que ser algo "suelto y sencillo" para Rachel, y he hecho dos versiones.

Para su bikini, diseñé tres versiones, aunque creo que mi preferido es el primero.
