The anime 100% pushed the ichigo x rukia ship. The director believed Ichigo and Rukia was what Kubo planned so decided to push that hard.

2026-01-03 02:15:34 +0000 UTCYeah I noticed all the Chapter Black parallels myself first time watching this arc too. While they never truly stop, just because how many parellels are in the foundation of the arc, they do seem to diminish a bit past this point.
