近状報告

気持の整理も兼ねて近状報告です。
I wish to give you an upbeat progress report, but I must report on my current state of affairs.
今月中旬から母親の容態が悪く、先日入院することになり、その入院当日の夜中に今度は父親が転倒し救急搬送されるという怒涛の展開が続きまして…やっと一息ついたところです。
（父親はその後別条なく後日の検査も終え、母親も今のところ回復に向かっており、順調にいけば来週退院できそうとのこと。）
上記、因みにコロナ等の感染症ではないため、私自身は健康です。
The mother's condition has been deteriorating since the middle of this month, and she was hospitalized the other day. On the night of the hospitalization, the father fell down and was rushed to the emergency room.
(The father was examined later and the mother is now recovering, and if all goes well, she will be discharged next week.
In case you are wondering, my parents do not have Covid-19 or other infections. Therefore, I myself am healthy.
原稿進捗は滞っているものの挽回できそうではあるのですが、それよりも自身の精神が安定しておらず、イベント参加できるのか？と一抹の不安が拭いきれない状況です…
正直本当に楽しみにしていたイベントですし、その為にずっと制作してきた本と共にイベントを見送りしたくない…行きたい…という気持ちがあるのでギリギリまで諦めたくないのが私の希望です。
＆見送った場合もメンタルキツイんよな…と思うところもあしますし。
I am not sure if I will be able to attend the event, as I am not mentally stable, although I think I will be able to make up for the slow progress.
To be honest, I was really looking forward to this event, and I don't want to miss it along with the book I have been working on for it.
My hope is that I don't want to give up until the very last minute.
(& it's hard on my mental health if I have to forgo it...)
両親の状況を見ながら別途決断したいと考えております。
とりあえず今のところは精神整えつつ、このままイベントに向け準備を進める予定です！また変化があればTwitterなどで呟くかもしれません…！
見守っていただけますと幸いです。
For now, I will continue to prepare for the event, while keeping my spirit in check! If there are any changes, I may tweet about them on Twitter...!
