October Video Projects

September had ongoing family matters that look to finally be normalizing. Except my whole family currently has covid, myself included.

Getting a little repeat of 2020’s dark times, but don’t worry everyone's on the mend.

Octobers video project goals will be in no particular order. I like the project list, but I dislike the rigidity of the queue.

- Wildcard

- Squaresoft PS1 (FFT)

- FFT Single Job Challenge (Monk)

- Final Fantasy (FF3 Red and Blackmages SJC)

- Premium (FF5 Platinum)

Wildcard is new but its simple. Once a month I’m going to pick a game from my library then play it, beat and make an episode on it immediately.

I’ve been playing and editing nothing but Final Fantasy and its getting repetitive. I also think the channel is stagnating because of it. I’m hoping Wildcard gives me some inspiration and keeps things fresh as I get deeper into larger projects.

Squaresoft PS1 and FFT SJC’s have been bumped for too long so they’re getting started in October. No matter what.

I want to finish out Red Mage and Black Mage for FF3. Once I finish the wind crystal jobs FF3’s going on hiatus. I will return at some point, but other projects demand my attention.

For Premium: September was almost entirely scripting/editing so I didn’t really record anything new. I still haven’t recorded the Sealed Temple or the FF5 Platinum.

The plan is to keep working through videos and as soon as I finish the FF5 platinum I’ll prioritize getting it out for Premium. I might look through my footage and see if there’s a reasonable alternative otherwise.

The FF5 GBA Berserker Only video is an option, but its exactly the same as the Pixel Remaster, so its probably destined for the garbage bin.

I’d like to do Folklore for a Halloween special, but I’ve already got a full plate. I’ll see if I can make it happen.
