Anker SoundCore Boom 2 EQ settings

They are based on measurements but I had to readjust them by ear afterwards to make them sound more similar to the real speaker. These settings are meant to be used without BassUp but you can always activate BassUp for even more bass! “Oluv” is a more or less flat setting to the degree what was possible with the EQ, but it has boosted boosted bass and treble and should work well for outdoor use while still offer a somehow balanced sound. “Flat” should offer a flat response exactly on axis (you will lose lots of treble off axis though). “Go+play3” should simulate the response of the Harman go+play 3 of course without the deep bass extension. “Helsinki” should to some degree sound similar to a VIFA Helsinki with boosted tuning and allround placement. “Xtreme 4” should bring the response closer to a JBL Xtreme 4. Keep in mind that due to different dispersion patterns the speakers will never sound the same depending on from which angle you are listening, also due to the bass issues at low levels, the Boom 2 tends to sound too thin if you listen at levels below half volume. You will need to increase volume past half to avoid any disappearing bass.
