Ancient Rome Jean and sticker mock-up

Hi guys!

I bring you some more ancient Rome Jean pages that were both a warm up and designing process for the April goodie bag sticker~ The first one got some rough ideas out. I really liked the one against the pillar with the arms up but recently I made a sticker with a similar composition so I opted out of this one. The bottom of the page made a perfect spot for some super adorable Jean enjoying her time in the public baths with an open ceiling~

The sketch on the upper left of the next page was a take on one of the sketches from above. I really love how soft her body turned out to be 😩🙏✨ I added some cracks and tried to lower the contrast of some of the inner lines of the silhouette to soften her looks and make it look a bit more like a statue~

I love the look of her slightly form the bottom, it makes her look soft but at the same time somehow in control of whatever is about to happen~ I got inspired by some of the information about Veneralia and how it appealed for women to reach for higher virtues. Hence - the pomegranate and the bitter skin reference - a symbol of pleasure hidden in places that are not intuitive. Jean on to top right will end up on a sticker making an Roman-English pun referencing famous Veni - Vidi - Vici 😋 And here's a mock-up of the sticker!
