Progress Update - September 7, 2025

Just a quick update to let you know that everything is still progressing smoothly.
Also, once the rework is released, I’ve decided the next update will be smaller than I originally planned so I can get new content to you sooner.
That means v0.17 will mainly focus on Emma’s birthday party, with family and friends gathering at the house—plus a couple of unexpected guests. v0.18 will then cover the dramatic climax of the antagonists’ storyline.
After that, with Harry and company no longer a looming threat, the family and MC can finally relax. From there, the story will focus on developing the romantic relationships and bringing the characters’ arcs to a satisfying conclusion.
As a reminder, billing will stay paused until the rework is finished. Thank you for your patience and support.

Charlotte mentioned her therapist, and we will meet her in due course, but helping one another overcome their pasts is an important part of Charlotte and the MC's romance. 😊

Once they have been, the story will become lighter and more uplifting as the romances really begin to take shape. Of course, there will still be drama, but it will shift from external threats to the more personal challenges of ambitions and making relationships work.
