Patreon Jail... again
Added 2025-07-09 15:08:02 +0000 UTCSo last weeks story "Zach - Anya’s Boyfriend, Shane" has been flagged for not meeting Patreon's community standards regarding "sexually gratifying works." The only bullet point they could consider is "consent" but I have disputed that and attached quotes from the text where consent was asked for and consent was given. So hopefully it will be out of jail, but at the earliest it'll be out next week.
There is always the possibility that it will get a life sentence because that's happened before despite having met the community standards. Patreon is terrible about explaining their flags so it's a guessing game.
That being said, this weeks story is a sequel to/ another of Zachs experiences worth reading about. So I wanted to take a poll and get consent 👀 for moving forward.
Option 1: Post the sequel and enjoy it as it's own story, then *if last weeks story gets out of jail, you can read both stories and enjoy this weeks even more with the added context.
Option 2: Post an unrelated story. Then make a plan next week when we find out if least weeks story is banned for life or not.
Option 3: Post last weeks story on a public platform with less restrictions and drop the link as a post here (today) . Then post the sequel this Friday as intended.
Depending on how this poll goes, I may post a followup poll.
