Zodiac Doll Giveaway clarification post

With some recent voices that reached us and folks being dissatisfied about our Patreon content, I thought I should clarify how the Zodiac Doll Giveaway will be run.

Firstly, the draw will be made after the series is finished, which realistically puts it it February of next year. Our reasoning for it is as follows:

- we want to be able to make a group photo of trhe project at the end

- we aim to limit the giveaway for 1 doll/Patreon, so we want you to choose which doll you'd like to be in for the draw (i.e. if you won now, and we made a doll you liked more, you wouldn't be able to be in a draw for the one you liked more)

I've updated the Cousin and Lost Sister tier to reflect this.

Now to make it fair to the people who support us for the longest time, I think we will do a entry system, where you will get more entries the longer you are a Patreon (my thoughts currently are up to 4 entries/person, each quarter of the year=1 entry?).

Additionally I want your opinions on whether we should do:

- 1 giveaway with 12 winners and you don't get to choose which sign you are to get or

- 12 giveaways where you sign up for each sign and are only eligible to get that one sign (but from a smaller pool of people).

And if you have any other questions regarding the giveaway, please let us know :)

I prefer the 12 differents as well <3

I'm a bit late to the party about this, but when I heard on the Capricorn doll's video that patreon supporters would have a chance to earn one of these gorgeous dolls, well, I had to at least give it a shot! I prefer the "12 different drawings" idea. Maybe everyone gets, say, 4 different tries to place their name into the drawing for their top 4 favorite dolls, and see if they come out on top. Obviously, if they win for 1 doll, their name gets removed from the other 3 they entered into to give other people a greater shot at winning. This way, there isn't a chance that someone will end up with their least favorite doll out of the bunch, you know? Anyway, my 2 cents! I'm sure you've got this all figured out already. :p Looking forward to the last 2 dolls in the series!

If it's illegal/prohibited then there. If you say a specific place I can check :)

Enchanterium

Are there any places in the world you wouldn't ship to ?

That's great to hear Lee! The post did it's job for once lol I'm glad you like it πŸ’•

Enchanterium

Well i got home and guess what! There was a lovely present from Alex and Barb thank you both the keyring is lovely xxx

Lee

All the pictures you guys have of the dolls in all the combinations, you should sell them as prints. I would literally pay like $50 for a large group shot print

BarbFromTheFuture

I JUST HAD AN IDEA

BarbFromTheFuture

But I wont them all even the ones you haven't made yet how would I pick if I won. this will be hard! :) x

Lee

I think that's what we're leaning towards doing πŸ€—

I think 12 giveaways might be better, that way people can prioritize getting their favorite doll. But maybe let them sign up for multiple ones at once, and then if they win a doll take their names out of the other queues

Greetings! Yes, I joined for a chance for one of your customs in my art doll customizers' collection, but ALL your custom dolls are stunning! I suspect when my sign comes around it will be just as fantastic as the ones so far! I think I will wait and see everyone together before debating with myself which zodiac creation I am the most in love with.

Good idea! I think distributing the entries before hand could work. That way it's fair and people are able to get the best chance of getting one they love but it's also up to chance. Thank you for responding 😊

That's one thing I was wondering about too, but would that be fair to try out for the next one? Say one person signed up for the 1st zodiac and didn't win, should they try for all 12, but the person who signed for the 6th one only try for the 6 and the ones after? If we did separate giveaways for separate dolls I think it should be good only one. Or maybe longer patrons who have more entries for their longer support could distribute their entries upfront? I think this wcould be considered as fair too. It might be a bit of work getting everyone to distribute their entries beforehand, that's true but it might be more fun and let people get a chance to get *their* zodiac from a smaller pool of people. Thanks for your input!

To be completely honest, I did join for the chance to win one of your beautiful dolls. I didn't know how fun and inclusive being a Patron can be. I honestly hope you get so many patrons that I have little to no chance of getting one. You two are so much fun to watch. That's a great idea to have 12 giveaways (sounds like a lot of work for you though). Question, if you do the 12 would each person only get to try for the one they like most? Or if they don't win the first could they try for the next?

Amelia Blackwood

Hi girls! In my case, I just want to support your work. It would be nice to win one of the dolls, but it's not my priority here. If I win, I would be happy with any doll, so both options are okay with me. For now enjoy your holidays and don't forget to try as much food as you can! πŸ™Œ

Ciw's Party

I honestly think you’re running the channel amazing, as well as the Patreon. I think for the giveaway both options would turn out well but personally, I think a big pool where you don’t chose has more excitement and it would be something more unique. It would have it’s pro’s and con’s but it just sounds a little more interesting to me. Hope this helps! Keep up the amazing work~!

I agree!

Enchanterium

Hi girls! personally, I'm just happy to be able to support you, and am happy with however you choose to run your Patreon, so don't worry on my account. And since I am happy with how you're running it, I won't make any suggestions about how you should do your giveaway - I hope you get enough answers to be able to find a solution that suits everyone. Enjoy your holiday in the meantime! kindest regards, k
