Leo concept + body mods
Added 2023-07-20 17:57:50 +0000 UTCHeya, we started working on the next Zodiac sign, Leo! After a long battle of the genders, we decided to go with a female Leo because the prompt says muscular and not masculine.
But! We decided to try a more androgynous approach this time and make her chest and arms from a male doll (Clawd) and female legs (Marisol). I didn't feel like the head from Clawd or Marisol would suit this character, so I chose Spectra's head. I think she is very feminine while having good proportions of the jaw and cheekbones to look good with Clawds upper body.
The head and the body were sprayed with primer, so it's not going to be the final color of the skin. She also got the kintsugi cracks today. In the last photo, you can see what remained of the dolls we used. Hopefully, we can use these parts in the future 😄
I already know that the proportions on the concept sketch are not going to match what we have as a doll, but I'm excited to see where it goes. I think this doll is a very "trust the process" project, what do you think?
