Capricorn update 🐐
Added 2024-01-19 09:52:39 +0000 UTCOkay, don't kill me but has a mustache 😆 I think this is my first doll with a mustache, before I was only making a little bit of hair on the chin, so there's something new in this doll. His hair is a blend of a lot of stuff that we already had in our stash, some leftover nylon and yarn from the previous project, as one of the prompts is "reuse, reduse". They still have to be styled. Oh, his horns on the head are not painted yet.
The mask had such a glow up in the last few days! I'm so glad it came out so good, it was truely "trust the process" kind of craft because the early stages were so ugly 😅 and yes, he will have 6 horns when wearing this mask.
And finally, we have the tail. It's 3d prined in translucent blue resin with an injection of white resin in the bone structure, the same as we did on Dark Layla, but we adjusted the shape to an MH male body.
What do you think so far? I'm in love with the mustache, but I know not everyone is going to be a fan of it. Avea sculp is such a good base for a male character. I was going for a mix of a Disney villain with a Winx Club style with the face up. But I don't want him to be evil, just having a trickster energy.

Mr.. Capricorn is so dashing with his goat beard and mustache! That smirk just calls you to come along with him under the sea and cause mischief with seals and orca! I also love animal skulls - they are so different and fantastic (as in fantasy - that they are actually real shapes hidden under our animal friends) compared to human ones.

2024-01-21 08:07:24 +0000 UTCngl when i saw the picture at first I was all wtf? but the mustache is ... growing on me (I'll show myself out XD) I think I like it! I'm sure it will be more cohesive with the final product "trust the process" and it'll all come together - it's hard deciding whether you like a specific part of the doll when you have little context (at least for me). I love the skull though! (I have a "healthy" love of skulls of all shapes and sizes and species - fake ones or drawing them not real ones...) This one definitely tickles that spot! Also love the translucent tail with the white bones . Can't wait to see the video and how it all comes together! Thank you for the sneak peak!
