Aquarius progress ♒️
Added 2024-02-23 12:32:56 +0000 UTCIn the last few days, I have been sculpting and sanding some modifications and "clothes" for our Aquarius. I went for a not symmetrical and flowy pattern that reminds me both of water and air. She also has holes for the second pair of arms. Sanding the face took longer than I expected because I decided to modify the sides of her forehead to suit one eye by getting rid of the brow bones. I think she's ready now for the next step, which is finally adding some colors! 😁

That one was from around 2019 and we got so much better at this in the last few years! It's a new head (but the same doll base). The old head had a lot of cracks as we used different type of clay and we stored it without any special care. It got handy with testing though! I did a test cut on the Sapphire head to see if it would look good without a nose. Spoiler: looks better with the nose in place 😂

2024-02-28 21:48:19 +0000 UTCI saw in a past video you guys had prepared a one eyed face to make sapphire from Steven universe but not gotten to use it. I'm just curious, are you using it here? Or was creating the head for sapphire good practice for making this one for Aquarius?
