Follow-Up On Debriefs

I did some research and learned it would be automatically moderated for us with a bunch of different safety features, so it's a safer space. I wanted to ask how we feel about this idea as a community. I want to be able to debrief chapters with you guys, but the chats have recently taken a bad turn on Patreon. Feel free to vote and comment your thoughts belowπ

i completely understand lovely! the only issue is that Patreon doesnβt have any features set in place for a safer chat. Discord automatically connects through Patreon so itβs still somewhat organized. this is truly my last try before the chat feature is removedπ€

2025-03-31 13:14:29 +0000 UTCI get the idea behind moving the conversation to Discord, itβs more curated and easier to manage. But keep in mind that requiring another app adds friction. One of the strengths of Patreon is having everything (your work and the chat about it) in one place. Moving the community elsewhere risks breaking that convenience and losing the lock-in effect youβre monetizing here. Personally, Iβm not looking to download another app just to stay part of the conversation.
