Our July Game Club!
Added 2017-06-19 23:55:00 +0000 UTCHey everyone, M here. We're at our first poll, which means every Patron gets to help vote on the game we'll play for next month. This will usually be pulled from our own working games list, and also suggestions offered up by $5+ patrons this month.
We only got one suggestion this month, which is surprising given how many games we haven't played that people love and talk about on the regular. I mean, I'm glad y'all enjoy the games we self select, but I expected people to have burning games to saddle us with? Maybe next month! The call for submissions will be regular. And if you're backing at less than $5, and want to get in, maybe raise your pledge! You'll get on this poll next month.
The poll will run until we record next week, when the winner will be chosen as our game club. So get to voting.
We have two character action games this month, one a classic and one a cult hit. They're a decade apart. I've played both of them, Jackson has played neither. The conversation about them will be very different, given that the first option is very mechanically nuanced and the second is a stylistic endeavor with some light combos over the top. Which one will it be?
That's up to you. In the famous words of some guy on the internet: here we ... here we ... here we fucking go!
