Weekly Update - 8 October 2017
Added 2017-10-08 21:49:44 +0000 UTCHey everyone, it's Jackson with this! week's! weekly! update! I'm back at school now, which is a place of learning and joy, so combined with two weekly podcasts on top of our monthly main shows, it's a very busy time at Abnormal Mapping.
First things first, suggestions for next month's game club are open!! If there is a game you want us to play for Abnormal Mapping, and you are on the $5+ tier, then please let us know! We always enjoy being given new ground to cover that we wouldn't have chosen ourselves.
And with that out the way, here's all the hot #content that dropped this past week:
- Second Officer Slog covered episode 3 of Star Trek Discovery this week, as we watch a Star Trek series live for the first time in decades. These are very loose and very fun shows, if you are also watching discovery please write your reactions/questions into podcast@abnormalmapping.com, we're all on this journey together and it's the best time for some audience participation!
- The Amory Score has left Mayo behind and returned to the tale of Claudio, the son of three, the crowing, the boy most special. The comic is by far in its most boring and shitty stage, but we wring some good content out of it!
- The Great Gundam Project saw Jackson somehow lose faith in anime fans he did not realise he had, and we met Ramba Ral, everybody's favourite Zeon dad.
- M continues on their five-videos-a-week quest, playing through Gabriel Knight and Castlevania Chronicles. M's Let's Plays are great and if you like LP stuff you should check them out.
- I wrote the Patreon Letter about the ways in which capitalism is hell and holding onto the reasons we bother to stick around in games spaces online. It's very good imo, I'm proud of it!
That's it for this week! Lots of podcasts dropping here there and everywhere. The train don't stop though, we've got a bunch more coming your way next week, such as:
- A full fat SOS podcast, covering two classic Trek episodes and one novel
- Our podcast for Discovery: Episode 4
- M's Let's Plays every weekday
- A new Fireside Friends
- The Great Gundam Project for episodes 14 and 15
- M's Patreon Letter
Like i said, busy busy time! I hope you enjoy the Abnormal Mapping output, and that you have a great week.
