Hello, friends! M here today to give you the run down on all the things we did this week. It's a busy week! They're all busy weeks these days. So let's get to it.
- Second Officer Slog had two episodes this week. Episode 10 is the normal book club about the third DS9 Mission Gamma series, and episode 11 covers Discovery episode 4. It's all Trek all the time over here these days.
- Meta Mapping for this month returns to one of our earliest episodes to reflect on the ways in which we botched talking about Pokemon X/Y, and the dated ways in which we talked about The Swapper. Lessons are learned.
- The Great Gundam Project rounds up two of my favorite episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam to date, as we discuss the good and bad of mundane life in a war.
- Fireside Friends talked about the classic film Repo Man, to remember the late great Harry Dean Stanton. This is the second best movie called Repo Man, if you ask me, but it is the only one with Harry Dean Stanton in it.
- On the Youtube Channel, I've continued my playthrough of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, I finished up the incredible Castlevania Chronicles, and have begun my now ongoing playthrough of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. DRACULA IS STILL A THREAT.
- This week's Patreon letter is about my frustrations playing Night in the Woods, and how even small games can suffer a spatial lethargy that plagues larger game spaces.
- And last but not least, the poll for our November game club is up for you to vote on! We're picking between four really interesting games, so please vote if you haven't!
And that's it. Next week? More Trek, more Gundam, a new Amory Score, and all the Let's Plays you can shake a stick at!
Also we're recording our Final Fantasy X episode next Sunday, so send in those questions to podcast @ abnormal mapping . com! With that, I'm out of things! Finally.
