Catching all this very late, I was very surprised that the messed up Treize baby metaphor, where he stops mother from trying to save a baby chasing it's fascination to the end of the pier so he can project Zechs onto the baby to see if he turns away from the pier, wasn't clear. Alternatively, just hard line believing that you should let people have opportunities to make disastrous mistakes.

As for Shibako the Movie, I found it quite Satoshi Kon. Would love to hear what the Kon fan on the pod would think about the movie in the future.
