Let me tell you from experience: if you enjoyed the Lodoss OVA, *do not* watch the TV series because not only does it look like butt (which lays bare how basic a lot of the franchise's lore truly is), but it ostensibly tries to tell a new story but ends up just reinforcing the idea that Parn is the bestest hero boy ever and that no one can compare. You're already getting enough of that as-is with SEED.
