2022-04-14 01:47:28 +0000 UTCSpeaking as someone who got into Gundam via The Origin manga and saw Zeta not terribly long thereafter: it's not that any of the changes affect one's ability to follow the events of Zeta (because it doesn't, but explaining why would be very very spoilery). It's more about the very different ways Yas and Tomino tell stories as far as things like tone, character, etc. It's more of a culture shock than anything else.
