July And Stuff...

The hiatus continues...I'm sorry guys but how often I crank out content is largely affected by how I'm feeling.  It's super unfair for you hardcore supporters, and I'm sorry.  I had started to feel like I was coming into an up-swing but as some of you may or may not know Stevie Ryan took her own life recently.  "How does this affect you?"  You may ask.  Well as some of you may or may not know, I used to live in Los Angeles, where I sat in a dark room and worked on dozens of big budget films (for peanuts) and never had any free time to work on my own ideas.  It was there that I started thinking about doing my own YouTube channel and it was bumping into a couple of already established internet faces that really gave me the push and the confidence to do so.  One of which was Harley Morenstein of Epic Meal Time and the other was Stevie Ryan of Little Loca.  Now Stevie and I were not close friends, but she was kind enough, and open enough to give a few pointers to a shlubby nobody like me.  And while I can't say I was her most dedicated fan, she was a personal inspiration.  In February of this year she had begun working on a podcast with another acquaintance of mine from L.A. by the name of Kristen Carney.  I've been helping Kristen with some short film and editing stuff for a little while now.  And her being so grieved with Stevie's loss just puts me in even less of a mood to wear the mask of the happy go lucky, vaguely European, guitar playing, barber shop manager.  Especially since I know Kristen best as a stand up comic and to hear tears in her voice breaks my heart.  So for now the remasters continue.  Hopefully I'll get my head out of my ass soon.  Thanks for sticking it out.

How are we still only at 100 bucks? There's something wrong here..

In a side note, I really need to stop pressing enter at the end of my lines.... but anyroadup, all I'm saying is that creativity flows from outside, if what's coming from outside isn't creating anything in you, then you can't create anything from it. Sure, I'd love to sit down and shoot the proverbial breeze with you about life and things, but I'm some faceless shlub on the internet, so I can't say much. What I can say is that I feel for you, I've suffered losses big and small and can relate. Do what helps you, and see yourself through, that's what you need.

Take your time, grieve, find peace with the world in her absence, we'll be around to see you when you get back.

My friend, loss of somebody, even of somebody that you just admired, is nothing to take lightly. At least, it's nothing for those of us unaffected to take lightly.
