Wow... at least with synaesthesia I get the positive side of things... My symptoms relate sound to physical sensation, so where most people just get tingles from sound, I get complete sensations. So an example would be that James Taylor sounds like a thumb rubbing on the back of my hand. I don't know how I'd cope if I only got the negatives, that's rough.
