Patreon Patron Only Podcast Ep: 4

Sure this one starts off slow, but in the end Manwell joins us to talk about six armed Europan space dolphins.

You should do one of those silent virtual hair cut things.

You could do every Friday's podcast as an open one, non-patrons included... Also, that's where I'll definitely call Northerner privilege; Since June 21st we've lost more than 4 hours of daylight, next month in December we'll have a total of 8 hours daylight. Daylight Savings was invented pretty much for us up here, where the shift genuinely means that I can go to work in the morning being able to see the road in front of me. Standing up for Science though; we call them all theories, how are we getting on with the Theory of Gravity, though? Or the Theory of Relativity, the Theory of Zero (which is what Maths is based on). In terms of this theory, though, there's a great correlation that we've found on all the big, dominant species on earth; if they have a skeleton it's pretty much the same skeleton for every single animal, bird and fish, with very few actual changes; Single skull, mirrored eyes, ears, nostrils (depending on the sensory organs each has), two limbs near the top of the main body, and two limbs at the bottom of it. The central spine forms a tail of varying strengths depending on the environment they live in, a large tail for the water, a non-existent one for ones capable of using hands. Anything that doesn't have an internal skeleton (an exo-skeleton in fact) is capable of having any number of limbs, usually forms claws as manipulator, has the capacity for multiple eyes and extra-sensory organs for heat and movement. So from what we know of all the possible diversity here, there's quite a lot of theories that we could come up with. I mean, people always say that after we nuke ourselves off the map, the dominant species that could take over would be roaches... except people have changed their minds and said, actually, the strongest and most adaptable species next in line is Arthropods (squid). So there's a solid chance that in a million years, we won't exist and instead sentient squid will rule the world in their hentai-fever-dream society. That said... yeah, apparently the Nasa scientists have discovered underground Water on the moon Europa, which means there could be life there, which is weird to me because it means that we could travel out to Space and encounter Europeans...! Wait... I need to go think about life for a bit...
