Over here we had a couple of girls get arrested because of illegal gains, turns out these illegal gains were from catfishing terrorist recruiters. Basically they'd go online, make the right kind of noises on fake FB accounts that they were unhappy here, wanted to join ISIS as 'brides' of ISIS, then when they had a recruiter hooked, they'd claim they needed money to leave the UK, you know, get passports, that kind of thing, then when the recruiter sent them money... they'd bail and shut down the accounts. It was the best use of a catfish scam that I've ever seen, defrauding terrorists is an amazing use of spare time.
