Still Super Sick

Hey guys. I think I'm over the worst of this flu, but it's the secondary respiratory infection that is really taking the piss out of me right now. Wheezing, coughing fits, a face full of mucus, burning ears and a voice that sounds like Barry White eating sand. The fever and chills are gone at least for now, but I'm still very much out of it, which is worrisome because I have to return to the day job again on Monday for a week of training. This flu that's going around is no joke. They've been shutting schools down cause upwards of 30% of the local population is infected with this shit. I think the worst part is, my ear canals, being connected to my cough inflamed throat make wearing headphones or earbuds extremely uncomfortable. It's been a real damper on using ASMR to help me feel better. The one upshot is that my laptop has creative sound-blaster with virtual surround on it and the sound fields it generates seems to be simulating headphones well enough for me to enjoy some JessieASMR. Seems all my favorite ASMR people tend to be Northern European. Still super bummed that wasn't able to visit Los Angeles and make a bunch of new episodes for you guys. Apparently the whole state is burning to a cinder currently anyway. No victory for us this month. Maybe 2018 will be better. Let's hope so! Thank you all for sticking with me. 2017 has me on the ropes.
