Week Update

I didn't manage to write a Sigma or ShipCore chapter last week, like I was supposed to. I did however send in the edits for ShipCore book 4 to Aethon this morning, so that's a massive relief. There were ~16,000 revisions in the book from this edit.

I didn't change much to the actual plot or content, but I did lots of rewriting of sentences and polishing the prose. A lot more than I did for the earlier books. This has the additional benefit that I've basically 're-read' book 4 2 times now, so I am a lot more 'fresh' in remembering what the heck was going on. I was having a bit of trouble starting Book 5 because... well I wasn't the freshest. I am realizing that it's a good idea that I... go and reread my own books, actually. Which is another slow down, but very helpful. I seem to have forgotten some of the things from early on.

I also finished the Demoness editing earlier this month, but I am doing some final proofreading on it now. It's due to the audio publisher this week, and once that's wrapped up I am going to be able to focus all the time on actually writing new chapters and not be distracted.

I also spent a lot of time with my dad, we played Space Engineers. So that was good.

As always, thank you all for your support!

awesome!

Yes, i've already submitted it to the production team. I am not sure when it will release, but my guess would be december-jan-feb. (The ebook releases december)

Is Newly Summoned Demoness Book 3 getting a audiobook as well?

That's sweet. I've been playing off and on for years. Huge fan of sigma 16. Reminds me a lot of satisfactory which is the one a play the most right now.

In the past I've played on Sigma Draconis as ErioCorp (solo) and with TSI ! I haven't been playing multiplayer any time recently, though, just a co-op single player-like thing with my dad. MES adds npcs and a bunch of encounters and stuff so it's pretty fun. I generally fly combat and salvage operations, and he sticks around the base managing the resources and building things for me to use.

I am not sure but I know it's in production because Reba (the narrator) had me put together a pronunciation guide for some of the things is the book. So it is being worked on!

I was recently thinking that Bruce Sentra could get a lot of inspiration from re-reading his Dungeon Divers 101 book (he’s working on the 7th at the moment). I was thinking that because he has kind of lost the thread of his own storyline. Don’t get me wrong. He’s a great writer. But he suggested or made inferences about a LOT of things he hasn’t touched on yet. All of that to say that there is merit to re-reading the early books in your series.

Hi Erios! Any news on when ship core 3.0 will be released on audible? Just got caught up and am dying to hear what happens next haha πŸ˜…

I love space engineers! Do you play on a personal server any of keen's public ones?

What happens happens.

We played on Petram with MES working to get to space. Sort of made me wish I had paced Sigma 16 a bit better, and pushed the 'early game' part of the story longer.

Erios909

I hope you enjoyed Space Engineers, any insperation from it?

Nicolae
