Blood-streaked stone marks each one's fall
Lightning crackles through my blade
As my choices fade

Captain's body torn apart
Soldiers dying for my art
All my dreams of victory
Drown in crimson sea

This isn't how the stories go
No glory in this overthrow
Led them all to death's embrace
For pride's hollow grace
Should have fled when there was time
Keep them safe, that should be mine
Truth reveals what I must do
As my heart bleeds through

Spirit's body cracking fast
Ice shield failing as time passed
Essence rises from the shell
As my heart rebels

Then she comes in golden light
Autumn hair and burning bright
Serpent child breaks his shell
As stories legends tell

Golden coils fill the sky
Ancient power makes foes fly
Heaven's flames rain from above
While frost guards my side

Fire serpent's blazing might
Spirit frost and blade of light
Together we ignite the night
As one we'll win this fight
