We are sponsoring a Pokemon TCG team!
Added 2024-06-05 00:39:28 +0000 UTCALRIGHT so last week we said that if the Board of Directors poll to sponsor some Pokemon TCG players got 100 votes on yes, we would sponsor them for the Pokemon International Championship. Well, it got 98... so we got 2 extra yes votes from our staff - we are going through with it! Note that they will not be official signed players for DSG, we are just sponsoring them for this specific event. More so, they are sponsored by the DSG Patreon.
We're gonna have the team do an intro video and talk about the Pokemon TCG scene for those new, coming out this week!

Super cool example of including the Patreon tiers in decisions going forward! I hope they do well at the next tournament. I've never watched a TCG game before, but I'm down to try if Toast or someone restreams it or something.
