Catching up to Too-Fiddy
Added 2018-12-15 16:26:47 +0000 UTCFirst, thanks to everyone for their patience regarding my tardy reward posts.
Second, I've got 12 pages of pencils/inks lined up and will be posting one each starting today and for the next 11 thereafter. Ending on the 25th. It will be like the 12 Days of Christmas!
Third, there has been some concern among some of my readers regarding the recent actions of Patreon in banning certain popular YouTube personalities for being deplorable to progressive sensibilities.
I doubt that Quantum Vibe is on any short-list (or even long list) to be axed but I am very concerned about this and have lost a lot of trust in Patreon's integrity. But for personal financial reasons I can't cut the cord any time soon.
I've been asked to set up alternative subscription systems and I'm looking into that, and will announce through the quantumvibe.com website as well as here when I have something set up.

2018-12-18 23:53:01 +0000 UTCI have heard of two alternatives. One is the one someone begged you to open an account to, (I don't recall the name off the top of my head, and I'm being too lazy to dig through the message boards for it,) the other is Dr!p. (Which I just discovered, although I'm sure I was informed before, is part of Kickstarter.) I have four people I am patron of. One was already silenced on Twitter. (I have absolutely no idea why, as his strip is very modest, but maybe he said something about his real feelings. Whatever it is, I can't say, as I didn't follow his twitter feed.) None of them have an account, that is on their webpage, that goes to one of those Patreon competitors, but I suspect one could be talked into it. The other two are...probably not going to make the change, but I can always cut my patronage by half. I know of at least one author who strongly discourages people from using a single e-commerce platform for their books; cautioning that one shouldn't rely upon JUST Amazon for paying their bills. I would suppose the same is true for things like this.

2018-12-16 02:08:58 +0000 UTC"Love-hate relationship" seems to be invented specifically to describe how I feel about Patreon (and I don't even use it to get paid). Specifically, a thimbleful of love and several super-massive black hole's worth of hate, earned exactly through shenanigans as mentioned and a "you're nothing but a resource we mine" attitude towards their users. I wish you good luck, and it definitely won't take much to get me to follow to any saner option; unfortunately this is a game of numbers and mindshare, and on that front right now Patreon has a de facto monopoly...

2018-12-15 17:49:53 +0000 UTC😕 i mean.... what exactly is wrong in anything related to Quantum Vibe? Because this seems standard fare science fiction, nothing to object and the characters' opinions should not be seen as the creator's opinions and you've been giving voice to pretty much anything... soooo... 🤔 but i understand your concerns.
