The Five Pillars is not an "official position," more an occasional board of directors that meets to deal with matters that affect the city as a whole. Each Pillar owns several of the Spheres, and except for deClayre were the city's founders. (DeClayre inherited her position from her father, who chose to discorporate several decades previously).
