Yeah it's been too long but I'm nearly ready to launch the next printed volume.
We're doing this differently this time. Before, we used a Print-On-Demand outfit (Lightning Source) to print our books, as the quality is good and it's a lot easier for us from a cash-flow standpoint. But LS keeps raising their rates and our already-slim profit margins have all but disappeared (we even had to increase the price on some of our older books so as not to sell at a loss).

So, we're back to offset printing, and the good news is I've found a printer in North America than can do the job affordably. (As every Chinese business bigger than a food cart is connected to the ruling political party, I don't want to do business with them anymore.)

But this means putting funds up front. And for us, that means crowdfunding.

So we're putting together an Indiegogo campaign to pay for the printing, and will announce that on the website in a week or two. But I want to assure Patrons here that they will still be getting the digital and printed books promised as premiums for your contributions, at no extra cost. (Of course, if you want to buy _extra_ books for your friends, pitching-in to the Indiegogo campaign is a good way to do it, because if we meet our stretch goals there will be some cool extras (bookmarks, stickers, a cool slipcase, and an 18" x 24" poster) added in.

As you lovely patrons have stuck by me through thick and thin, you get this news first and first look at the final cover art (plus maybe some stickers or bookmarks if we meet those stretch-goals) to show my appreciation. I could not have made it this far without you.
