Thank you. Yes, one of the more important things in my writing is to show a natural progression, where stuff doesn't instantly succeed, where he works for things. The other side of that is that I have to constantly be wary of making anything that will make him OP and thus kill my story and what people like about it. Thanks for your support.

As Supreme Commander, it is his duty to strengthen the latest defense satellite planetary shield DS9 or build StarBase 9. You know Star Trek Online, there are (24th-25th) ships and my favorite is the USS Theurgy (NX-79854) and please the time must not be changed. The motto does not apply here, he is in alternate time, you can only argue that you need the knowledge. Personally, I think Dominion War should be a new script with the basic knowledge but completely new. You have the option of taking longer for chapters 3M=1C

The timeline for building the gods defense system isn't instant, using some minos building magic to build a global coverage system in a few days. Looking forward to the big reveal at kessik iv and if there will be any more surprises during the demonstration.

Deployable armor hidden inside a necklace pendant, belt buckle, or even built into the omnitool as a bracelet/armband. Not on the scale of gothic's nanotech armor, just some extra protection for the coming war and away missions. They will become targets by the collectors and the dominion when they connect gothic with their losses in battle.

2024-09-12 00:32:41 +0000 UTCGood I would say. Not the motherload in terms of size but good considering that most of the replicators have been established as needing Latinum to operate. Also, since Transporters were the technological father to the Replicator those devices need Latinum as well.

2024-09-09 19:24:40 +0000 UTCI finally got the time to sit down and read the latest update. I like Gothic's new bodyguard. I'm already imagining the weapons Gothic will arm it with in the future. Gothic's got a nice little collection of ships. A Vor’cha-class, those six freighters he captured during the Occupation and now a D'Kora-class. I wonder what Gothic will do with all of them. I'm looking forward to them returning to DS9.

Just having that will be of huge potential for his business concerns, planning flight plans, and should Gothic plan to help Voyager or Equinox in some covert way (I mean you did establish Cronowerx so they have to get wooshed away).

2024-09-07 20:04:00 +0000 UTCI probably shouldn't admit this, but I kind of forgot about the Vor'cha class cruiser, lol. Whoops! Thank you for reminding me because I genuinely forgot. This is one of the big problems with such a long running fic that has such a huge word count. We'll have to see what happens organically...and whether that would ultimately make him too OP in my opinion. That's the most common way to kill a story. My spell check kept correcting me, so I just let it go. On the revision, maybe I'll fix it. Those were my private notes for future scenes in the next chapter that I accidentally left in. Lol. Please ignore. :-)

2024-09-07 20:01:36 +0000 UTCNo plans at the moment to create clone bodies like that. Gothic is always aware of what he should and should not do as an Augment. Creating clone bodies, in his opinion, would be even worse than creating robots, as the clone bodies are living beings. The creation of Augments was viewed as people playing God, messing with things they shouldn't. The Federation and others would down on him like a hammer if they found out and it's just not worth it in his mind. 2. That might appeal to him on some level, but he's content with things as they are.

His rank and recent medal will mean that his company can be trusted with some very high value cargo. The holograms are loyal to an insane degree. He's not concerned also because like everything he builds, he put in safeguards. I should probably add that he conducted a review of the space marines' coding. In a sense it is kind of like that. The quantum network will allow back ups of Tyr's mind and experiences. Maybe, but keeping it relatively 'stock' will ensure it can go wherever the Ferengi normally go. Thank you for your support!!

His holograms have protections built in as well. In fact, all of his holograms have that kind of programming, including kill switches, and his AI children are actively monitoring things too. Maybe I need to add more to remind folks of that...

Especially since he's supposed to be a common sense SI-oc who Should know better than to fuck around with holograms that badly. And it seems to me So out of character for him not to be Paranoid of of his holographic security To become Self-aware. And put the mind of the hologram into Robot body without giving it a thorough review of its code.

I gotta say the meeting went as well as expected. The holograms have me both concerned and curious. Hmm Tyre connection sounds like a much better version of the Cylons resurrection network. That warship will be very good for Gothic's fleet, though it may need some upgrades

This is a good start to having all the specks of all his future enemies most numerous powerful war ships. I wonder if Goth will have time to initiate a download of some of the Cube's database before they nuke it, the difference in tech from the first version of the story might just give him that option. Page 38 last line, a few times on page 46 star base. I think in star trek it is always just starbase. I don’t get the last 3 lines of the chapter
