The question struck Adora as ludicrous. Why wouldnโt it be her responsibility to protect Catra? Itโs what they did for each other โ it always had been. But when Adora opened her mouth, she found herself struggling to express just how instinctual that urge was.
โBecause we look out for each other,โ she said at last. โNothing bad was supposed to happen as long as we had each other.โ
