Yay! I love the ending of Usopp's arc. Finally we have the Merry! <3 And henceforth the Treasure Island became known as the Island of Strange Animals... it's a one-off chapter but it's definitely canon, the anime just placed it after Usopp's arc instead of before (like in the manga). Oda is notably fond of Gaimon and he actually even appeared in the most recent color spread, 25 years and over a thousand chapters later, which is kinda funny lol. Since it's canon I can't help but think Gaimon will become relevant again in some crazy way eventually. But even if he doesn't it's just a cute little episode that I think is supposed to give us a bit more of Luffy's character. Yatta I love ep 19
