Earbud Demon wank
Added 2023-01-18 02:29:47 +0000 UTCFinished this one! I tried to let myself be a little sloppier with inking to make the process go faster. I'm interested in making works at the moment, not on perfecting the rendering.
My medium-term goal for a while has been to work out a rendering style I like that I can execute fast. Something kinda loose and expressive. However, one of the traps with looseness is that it can make later steps harder, for example, loose line work makes flats harder, because you can't just bucket fill regions like if you had done clean lines. I think one of the things I'll experiment with is very rough colouring; I've seen it done really well, where it doesn't even matter that stuff doesn't accurately fill the lines, the drawing stays legible and expressive
