I agree. Matt just makes us want to be a part of a couple like that when he gives us those scenes.

2026-03-01 16:30:45 +0000 UTCI remember someone (you? I forgot which one) mentioned that, in the law of UK, he could leave his home by his own will at age 16? I'm not familiar with the law there, but if it's true it could be a possible development which may do Mark real good⦠since I can't see a way for his parents changing, and no way his parents will "give up" him because they had already "invested on him so much".

2026-02-28 16:13:04 +0000 UTCChris had serious issues with Danny's recent behaviour and for good reasons. For a lot of couples, I think that would have been a nasty fight it would have taken them time to have a productive conversation about how to fix it and it would taken a while to heal. But those two love each other so much that Chris knew Danny would be willing to fix his behaviour and Danny knew Chris would understand his explanation. It turned out this started with a frustration from Danny's side and I think he would have talked about it with Chris sooner if it hadn't happened around the same time as the various things that caused his depression. This leads to them both taking part in the KFC tournament, it's a shame they won't fight each other. I'm curious as to what the prize will be, but that punishment is indeed perfect for Chris. Both of them being locked is funny, because they would have still been able to have sex if only one of them was. But this could be good for Danny, maybe he'll actually start to address the causes of the depression that I think he still has, since now he can't use sex to distract himself from it. Danny will also feel part of the frustration Chris feels on his cum denial periods, although it's still easier when it's done with a cage, instead of through his own willpower. Mikey realising the cause of Kian's action in his fight was Todd and taking the care to support him, instead of being mad at him for almost breaking the rules was very nice of him. He progressed a lot, I'm proud of him. Earlier, we got a reminder that his schizophrenia doesn't go away permanently by being on meds, it was probably the crowded place that triggered it. It lead to a nice moment that helped Gray feel like he's really part of the group. Speaking of Gray, when I saw Max and Clay acting like boyfriends in public, I knew either him or Nicky would notice. We'll see how he reacts, I'm just glad he didn't catch them having sex. I'm glad Josh took the news of the floor master change well, it was good to see his thoughts being primarily about how good it will be for Monty. Mark's reaction was a surprise at first, but the explanation made sense. Mark loving Max by seeing him as the loving paternal figure he never had, but misinterpreting it as a romantic kind because that's the only kind he knows is sad, but the logic is sound. Unfortunately, even if Max was interested in adopting him as well, Mark's parents' wouldn't agree because it wouldn't 'look good' in their social circles. We also got a reminder about the Sons of Kingswood, but that has the same issue of Mark's parents.

2026-02-28 14:56:21 +0000 UTCI think Rich spoke out almost everything I wanted to say. I'm still not very... used to Clay and Max dating, heh. Since Gray is aware of it now, we'll see how it will go. Also don't really like the chastity thing from the very beginning, but I know it's Matt's thing. π In all of it, I'm specifically impressed by Mark, being so brave to confess his crush on Max (though it's not new to Max and to us). He's going up to my favorite boy among all the main characters. BTW, βCome on,β he smirked, βAll the main characters in one place at the end of a perfect day. It could happen!β I don't remember Matt has ever had such "meta joke" before!

2026-02-28 07:15:14 +0000 UTCAs usual, I'll comment more later. But I need to say two things. I'm proud of Mikey for how he supported Kian. And I'm happy to see how mature Chris and Danny's relationship is that an argument with some valid points that could have been really damaging for most couples got resolved so quickly.

2026-02-27 21:32:13 +0000 UTCJust a barrage of short comments here. Nice to see Chris and Danny begin communicating with each other about the problems they were having. I know I haven't been calling out someone as hero of the chapter for a while, but this chapter I think Gray and Mikey might tie for it - Gray for his thoughtfulness and kindness with Mikey at the park, and Mikey for his support of Kian in his struggle with the aftermath of his abuse by Todd. I thought Max did an excellent job helping Mark see things in a different light. I ache when I see kids with parents like Mark's. I'm curious to see where Gray's discovery of a possible relationship between Clay and Max will take us. And Josh's maturity in the way he accepted Max's news about his job just makes me proud of him once again.
