Sagitta, Paws Fur Hire

Well, not exactly "paws", but had to keep the title similar to the others.

Sketch reward done for Seiji the Sergal. Done quite a bit of these Fur Hire monsters at this point, but this one was by far the most challenging with all the feathers and other details. A little less refined that usual, but with the end of the month approaching, I had to hurry to make sure I got it done in time. Wish I could have done the face a little better, too. Birds are always tough. A beak is pretty different than a muzzle in how it behaves with the rest of the head. At least that's how it feels when drawing it.

I also don't have a lot of practice with bird feet, but I do like the end result. Even if the process is more involved than paws.

I'm glad that I was given free range for the clothes because if I had to include the entire outfit, that would have been really cutting it close. >.<
