The terms “high brow” and “low brow” are born out of the racist pseudoscience of phrenology, a study based on the theory that a person's intellect, personality and character can be determined by the shape of their skull. Phrenology was used to lend scientific and biological "truth" to racism, sexism, colonialism, anti-Semitism, and other forms of oppression. I never knew this until the other day! Thought you might want to know too!

He told her she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen and was basically begging her to be a groupie. She told him she was only 17 and still in high school, but he didn’t care. He kissed her and then she left. I’m going to tell her about this episode!
